Marti Thurman is an attorney, Certified Clinical Research Professional, nonprofit founder, and faith leader whose career has been devoted to advancing justice, defending human dignity, and empowering others to lead with courage, compassion, and conviction.

As the owner and founder of Thurman Law Office, PLLC, Marti has spent more than three decades representing individuals and families in complex legal matters involving personal injury, civil rights, human rights, wrongful death, medical negligence, and catastrophic injury cases. Throughout her legal career, she has been a passionate advocate for those facing some of life's most difficult circumstances, helping clients navigate the legal system while seeking accountability, justice, and restoration.

In her legal practice, Marti has extensive experience in healthcare law, clinical research compliance, and regulatory affairs. She serves as legal counsel and consultant to healthcare systems, research institutions, physicians, and clinical research organizations throughout the United States. Her unique combination of legal and healthcare expertise has made her a trusted advisor in the rapidly evolving fields of healthcare and medical research.

Driven by a deep commitment to service, Marti founded Divine Justice, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and survivors of abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking. Through both her legal work and nonprofit leadership, she has consistently championed the protection of human dignity and the pursuit of justice for those whose voices are often overlooked.

In 2025, Marti founded She Leads Kentucky, Inc., the Kentucky chapter of She Leads America, with a vision to unite, equip, and inspire women of faith to lead boldly in every sphere of influence. Under her leadership, She Leads Kentucky has brought together women from government, business, ministry, education, healthcare, law, and nonprofit service to encourage one another and advance Kingdom impact throughout the Commonwealth.

Known for her ability to build bridges across diverse communities, Marti is passionate about developing leaders who are willing to answer God's call with boldness and integrity. Through statewide leadership events, prayer initiatives, mentoring programs, and community outreach efforts, she seeks to empower women to embrace their God-given purpose and use their influence to make a lasting difference.

An active leader at Southeast Christian Church, Marti's leadership is grounded in faith, prayer, and a steadfast belief that every individual is created with unique gifts and a divine purpose. She is committed to helping others discover that purpose and walk confidently in their calling.

As Founder and State Director of She Leads Kentucky, Marti continues to champion initiatives that strengthen communities, elevate women leaders, and inspire others to lead lives marked by faith, service, and impact.

Marti resides in Kentucky and is the proud mother of two accomplished children. Whether advocating for clients, advising healthcare organizations, leading nonprofit initiatives, or mentoring emerging leaders, she remains committed to the mission that has guided her life and career: pursuing justice, serving others, and advancing God's purpose in every sphere of influence.

Nancy Jones Tate is a respected Kentucky leader, devoted woman of faith, and member of the Kentucky House of Representatives whose life has been marked by servant leadership, unwavering conviction, and a deep commitment to strengthening families, communities, and future generations.

A native Kentuckian, Nancy earned a Bachelor of Business

 

Nancy Jones Tate is a respected Kentucky leader, devoted woman of faith, and member of the Kentucky House of Representatives whose life has been marked by servant leadership, unwavering conviction, and a deep commitment to strengthening families, communities, and future generations.

A native Kentuckian, Nancy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mid-Continent University and a Master of Project Management from George Washington University. She spent more than three decades with United Parcel Service (UPS), where she developed extensive expertise in leadership, strategic planning, project management, and fiscal stewardship. Her professional career cultivated the skills and discipline that would later distinguish her public service.

In 2018, Nancy was elected to represent Kentucky's 27th House District in the Kentucky General Assembly. During her tenure, she became widely recognized as a principled and courageous advocate for faith, family, life, and constitutional freedoms. She served as Chair of the Kentucky House Pro-Life Caucus and championed legislation that affirmed the dignity and value of every human life. Throughout her service, Nancy earned a reputation for thoughtful leadership, fiscal responsibility, and unwavering dedication to the people she represented.

Beyond public office, Nancy has remained deeply engaged in community service and ministry. She has served as President of the Meade-Breck Chapter of Kentucky Right to Life and has supported numerous charitable and civic organizations throughout the Commonwealth. Her passion for protecting the vulnerable, empowering women, and advancing biblical values continues to influence countless lives across Kentucky.

After choosing not to seek another term in the Kentucky House, Nancy embraced what she believes is God's next assignment for her life—investing in leaders and helping women discover and walk boldly in their God-given purpose. Her heart for mentorship, prayer, and Kingdom leadership makes her a natural fit for She Leads Kentucky.

As Co-Director of She Leads Kentucky, Nancy brings a wealth of leadership experience, public service, wisdom, and spiritual insight. She is passionate about equipping women to lead with courage, influence their communities for Christ, and answer God's call with confidence and conviction.

Nancy and her husband, Ed, reside in Brandenburg, Kentucky, where they are active members of St. John the Apostle Church. Together they have three children and two grandchildren. Whether serving in government, ministry, or community leadership, Nancy's life reflects her steadfast belief that true leadership begins with a heart surrendered to God.

Senator Lindsey Tichenor is a devoted woman of faith, accomplished business professional, educator, missionary, and public servant who has dedicated her life to serving others and advancing principles that strengthen families, communities, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

A native Kentuckian, Lindsey was born and raised in Louisville and has built a career marked by leadership, service, and a commitment to helping others thrive. Throughout her professional journey, she has worked as a teacher, sales executive, and successful real estate professional, bringing a unique combination of business acumen, communication skills, and servant leadership to every role she undertakes.

Lindsey's heart for ministry and outreach led her and her family to serve as missionaries in the Dominican Republic for four years, where they worked to share the love of Christ and support local communities. This experience deepened her passion for service, strengthened her faith, and reinforced her commitment to living a life of purpose and impact.

In 2022, Lindsey was elected to represent Kentucky's 6th Senate District in the Kentucky Senate. Since taking office, she has quickly established herself as a respected and influential voice for faith, family, education, religious liberty, and constitutional freedoms. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Education Committee and is a member of the Senate Health Services, Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection, and State and Local Government Committees.

During her legislative service, Lindsey has championed initiatives designed to improve educational opportunities for Kentucky students, protect children and families, uphold religious freedom, strengthen public safety, and preserve the rights and liberties of Kentucky citizens. Her legislative efforts have included support for religious liberty protections, antisemitism awareness and education, tax relief measures for Kentucky seniors, opioid treatment research initiatives, and reforms to improve Kentucky's missing children alert systems.

Beyond her work in Frankfort, Lindsey has been an active leader in civic and community organizations throughout Kentucky. She is a founding member of the Liberty Ladies Republican Club and a founding member of Salt & Light Academy, a donation-based Christian school committed to providing faith-centered educational opportunities for families. She has also served in numerous leadership roles within the Oldham County Republican Party and has been actively involved in community outreach efforts through organizations such as WaterStep.

As Legislative Partner for She Leads Kentucky, Lindsey brings a powerful combination of faith, leadership, public policy expertise, and a passion for empowering women to influence their communities for good. She is committed to encouraging women to engage in leadership, civic involvement, and public service while remaining grounded in biblical values and Kingdom purpose.

Lindsey's work is guided by a steadfast belief that strong families, quality education, religious freedom, and servant leadership are essential to building thriving communities and a stronger future for Kentucky. Her example continues to inspire others to lead with courage, integrity, and conviction.

Lindsey and her husband of more than twenty-eight years reside in Oldham County and are the proud parents of four children.  Born and raised in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Barbara Ann Jeter is Co-founder and Chair of the Board for Eternal Heiress Ministries which is the umbrella ministry of The Nehemiah Alliance, King's Hill House of Prayer, Pray Nashville, Power Hour Partners, King's Hill Music, Eternal Heirness Publishing as well as She Leads Tennessee. She is the principal author of #1 Best Seller, 50 Days to Transformation. Discipleship material that she co-authored has been successfully used in local detention centers and globally to bring transformation to troubled youth, orphans, abused, or sex trafficked women.  Rebecca Bowen is an active prayer minister and the She Leads Kentucky Prayer Coordinator, passionate about equipping women to lead through prayer. She completed prayer minister training at Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida.

 Rebecca Bowen is an active prayer minister and the She Leads Kentucky Prayer Coordinator, passionate about equipping women to lead through prayer. She completed prayer minister training at Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida. 


At Southeast Christian Church, Rebecca serves on prayer teams at the Prospect campus, Catch the Wind, and city-wide prayer nights. She co-leads a women's Bible study table. Also an intercessor for the Israel Virtual House of Prayer with JH Israel, she is serving this summer on the JH Ranch Intercession team in Etna, California.

As a former franchisee owner of Pure Barre Louisville Summit, Rebecca taught barre fitness classes and held leadership roles on the President's Council and Marketing Committee, partnering with the franchisor to advance the brand. She now enjoys staying home. Rebecca and her husband, Brian, live in Prospect, Kentucky with their two children.

As Director of Community Impact for She Leads Kentucky, Emily works to connect women with opportunities to serve, support charitable initiatives, and mobilize resources that positively impact individuals and families throughout the Commonwealth. She is passionate about helping women move beyond inspiration into action by creating opportunities for meaningful community involvement and lasting change.

Emily's commitment to justice and advocacy has shaped her desire to stand alongside those facing adversity and to be a voice for individuals whose stories often go unheard. Her leadership reflects a belief that every person has inherent value and that communities are strengthened when individuals come together in service, compassion, and purpose.

In addition to her work with She Leads Kentucky, Emily is pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she has distinguished herself through academic excellence and leadership. She is ranked among the top 10% of her law school class and was recently selected for the prestigious Law Review, an honor reserved for students who demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities. Her accomplishments reflect not only academic achievement but also a strong work ethic, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

Emily believes that leadership is ultimately about service and that lasting impact is created when people use their gifts, talents, and influence to uplift those around them. Through community outreach initiatives, volunteer projects, and partnerships with local organizations, she is committed to helping She Leads Kentucky fulfill its mission of empowering women to lead with faith, purpose, and action.

Grounded in her Christian faith and guided by a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, Emily is passionate about using her gifts to advance justice, strengthen communities, and inspire future generations of leaders. Whether serving her community, supporting charitable causes, mentoring others, or pursuing her legal career, she remains committed to leading with integrity, compassion, and a heart for service.
