Beverly is a woman whose life powerfully testifies to redemption, restoration, and the transforming grace of God.

A survivor of addiction, Beverly's early adult years were marked by struggle, instability, and the devastating grip of substance dependency. Her journey through recovery - including rehabilitation in Kentucky, where her family roots run deep - became the turning point that reshaped her life. God turned what once threatened to destroy her into the soil from which faith, resilience, and purpose grew.

Today, Beverly speaks openly and courageously about her testimony, offering hope to individuals and families impacted by addiction. With humility and candor, she shares how Christ met her in her darkest moments and restored her dignity, identity, and future. Her story resonates deeply across the Commonwealth, where addiction continues to affect countless communities.

Beverly is being honored by She Leads Kentucky not for prominence, but for perseverence - not for platform, but for redemption. She embodies the truth that no life is beyond the reach of God's mercy and that restoration is possible even after the most broken seasons. Through her advocacy, encouragement, and willingness to share her story, Beverly continues to help others who suffer as she once did. Her life reflects courage under refinement, faith after failure, and leadership born from grace.

She stands as a living reminder that God crowns restoration with purpose - and that redemption, when embraced, becomes a ministry to others.

Leigh-Allyn Baker, best known as Amy Duncan on the hit series Good Luck Charlie, is an accomplished actress, produce, and writer with numerous film and TV credits. Bold in her Christian faith, she now speaks nationally on courage and truth, inspiring Gen Z while creating uplifting children’s books and family-friendly programming.

When she lived in Hollywood and worked for Disney, some elements of her beliefs were kept hidden. She was not free to tell people that her children had vaccine injuries or speak about her Christianity.

But after she became canceled for exercising her free speech and received death threats, God ignited the courage within this mighty woman who now inspires others to know that they cannot be canceled by others for speaking the Truth even when they put so much pressure on you trying to make you shut up and quietly go away.

To advocate for free speech, Leigh-Allyn wrote her first children’s book, One Small Voice, which has had a big impact, in which a princess courageously speaks up to save her kingdom when others are overtaken by fear. Leigh-Allyn credits God for setting her on a new path. She never anticipated it and it’s not one she would have ever chosen for herself. But, she knows that as Romans 8:28 predicts He uses all bad for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes, so she is grateful for all the haters and the entire experience she had to endure to get her to where she stands today.

In her own gracious words, "in a world so full of darkness, we need hope! [The recent film] I Can Only Imagine is a beautiful reminder that we are not alone in the fire. We are carried through the storms and we are deeply loved by God. Even if the world is dark, even if there is sorrow, even if life is hard . . . EVEN IF . . . be thankful for another day, be thankful for mercy, for grace, for love!"

Personal Statement From Kayleigh

This isn’t the kind of message I ever expected to share — especially not after one of the proudest moments of my life. But I believe in truth, I believe in fairness, and I believe that when you're given a platform, you're also given a responsibility to speak up.

Early last August, I was crowned 2025 Miss North Florida — a title I worked hard for, prayed over, and earned under the clear understanding that this was a pageant for women. The rules were clear: you had to be a female to compete. That’s what was written on the website, and that was confirmed before entering.

Four weeks later, everything changed.

I was handed a new contract, a contract that was revised AFTER I was crowned. That contract redefined “female” to include individuals who are biologically male but have undergone irreversible surgery. That was not the agreement when I stepped onto that stage. That was not the standard I — or any of the other young women — signed up for.

I was told to sign it, or step down.

And I couldn’t sign it. Not because I don’t have compassion, but because I have conviction. No crown is worth a child’s safety.  I believe the healthy bodies of children matter. I believe that women’s spaces — and women’s competitions — matter. I believe that biology is real, and that redefining what it means to be a woman after the fact isn’t just unfair — it’s dishonest.

So I made a humble plea to the pageant directors: please honor the rules under which I competed. Please don’t change the definition of “female” after crowning a winner. Please don’t erase what so many young women have worked hard to uphold.

Weeks went by. I received no response.

Then, quietly and without ceremony, they took my title away.

I want to be clear: I didn’t lose my crown because I broke a rule. I lost it because I wouldn’t rewrite the truth to keep it.

To the young women watching: stand firm in what you believe. Your dignity is not up for negotiation.
To the organizations redefining womanhood: we see you. And we’re not afraid to speak up.
To those who’ve supported me — thank you. Your prayers, your messages, and your voices have meant the world.

I may no longer hold the Miss North Florida title, but I haven’t lost my voice. And I will continue to use it — not in anger, but in truth, grace, and courage.

With love,

Kayleigh
