Our Purpose
Honoring the Christian women in leadership across the Commonwealth of Kentucky
She Leads Kentucky is a state chapter under the umbrella of the international organization, She Leads America, which has many other state and worldwide chapters purposed with giving honor where honor is due. When God's women are honored, they are encouraged and empowered to fulfill their role of who He has called them to be in this hour of history. When women are honored, they are validated, and validation builds courage.
God has called us to gather together and honor the Christian women in leadership throughout the Commonwealth from many different sectors of influence - business, sports, media, government, family, etc. - those whose names God has whispered in our ear who He wants to lift up and honor. She Leads Kentucky offers amazing networking opportunities. We host special events, such as fireside chats with Dr. Alveda King, as well as perspectives that can only come from hundreds of the highest level of women in Christian leadership representing a broad spectrum of influence. We provide a framework to link interdisciplinary perspectives, centered in the Bible. We share resources: ideas, people, strategic thinking. We connect to collaborate, so we can offer faith-based solutions for modern-day challenges.
What We Do
Afternoon Tea to Honor His Queens
Each year, She Leads Kentucky will host an elegant afternoon tea party or evening gala award ceremony to honor up to 100 Christian women from around the Commonwealth. These women represent a wide variety of professions, non-profits, and Christian ministries and have contributed to the sustainable well-being of Kentucky, bringing "faith-based solutions to modern day challenges."
This year, the tea will be held at The Kentucky Castle.
